Bespoke piping
Seat piping, or welt, has been used by classic and modern car trimmers to give their seats structure and definition as well as an elegant design feature for many years. We produce covered piping in a full range of materials including fabric, vinyl, and skived leather.
We also produce extruded PVC piping in most colours. All our piping and piping cores are produced in house using Leedum’s or customer’s own materials.

PERFORATED LEATHER PIPING
Perforated leather is no stranger to car interiors. We are proud to offer something different in the form of bespoke designs that can be perforated and wrapped around a contrasting colour for maximum effect.
- Produced with two contrasting leathers
- Bespoke perforated design
- Engineered for softness and flexibility with a range of different cores
- Available piping width: 4 - 5mm
- Flange can be notched for sewing
LED ILLUMINATED PIPING
This new seat piping can be illuminated with LED light. We either wrap this in material for a solid effect or combine it with our perforated piping to give a more subtle edge to impress.
- Perforated leather and/or fabric cover over an end fed LED light source to give a constant illumination over more than 2 metres
- Available piping width: 4 - 5mm

EMBOSSED AND DEBOSSED LEATHER PIPING
A minimal stripe or a snaking geometric pattern, these are only a couple of the options available made from start to finish in collaboration with the team at Leedum.
- Produced with bespoke embossed and debossed designs with or without contrasting foiling
- Engineered for softness and flexibility with a range of different cores
- Available piping width: 4 - 5mm
- Flange can be notched for sewing
DECORATIVE FABRIC PIPING
Leather is not the only material available for wrapping our piping cores. Fabrics can be selected to match the feel of the cabin for example with this metallic-looking trim.

MICROPIPING
With or without a core and a width of only a few millimetres, this is a sleek and discreet addition to your seating available in a vast variety of colours.
- Produced in Leather, Vinyl, or Fabric
- Supplied a flat tape or folded with a 1.5mm HDPE core
- Overall width: 1 - 2.5mm
- Flange can be notched for sewing
